Sherwood Dental Care has deep roots in Baton Rouge, originally founded by Dr. Steven Collins’ father and now proudly led by Dr. Collins and his wife, Lauren. Together, they carry on the clinic’s tradition of delivering exceptional, personalized dental care. At Sherwood Dental Care, Dr. Collins personally diagnoses and treats every patient, ensuring a consistent and individualized approach to your care. Unlike corporate chains, our family-owned clinic treats every patient like family, from the youngest to the oldest, all with care and efficiency in our conveniently located office.

Dr. Steven Collins, Jr.
Dentist, DDS
Dr. Steven Collins, Jr. combines a passion for dentistry with a commitment to ongoing education, ensuring that every patient receives the best care possible. In his chair, you’ll experience attentive, personalized service, with clear explanations of each procedure and answers to all your questions.
Dr. Collins holds degrees in Microbiology and Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University, where he was also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Golden Key honor societies. He is actively involved with the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
